Chris, Fri, 15 Jan 2010 "basement development with great results"  I used this guy - Utu - for a basement development then a rental property mini-renovation in Calgary a few months ago. Very good, very professional, very clean. Especially my basement was a more difficult project as it included a wet bar, a home theatre, a bathroom. Price was fair and agreed before the work started. Paid in installments as the work progressed. final cost was only a bit higher due to extras mostly required by me. Did pretty much the whole job from framing to finishing touches, including heavy insulation, drywall, mudding, painting, flooring (carpet and tiles), stairs, bathroom and bar fixtures, a mini-wine cellar, doors, light fixtures etc. He didn't do rough-in plumbing and electrical but he mentioned he has contractors to do that job if needed. Overall, very pleased with this business and I recommended him to many people I know. The only negative might be that being this good, the guy is too busy at times. I hate the hassle with house renovations - too much work and disruptions - but in the end I'm happy with the results. Happy renovating to you too.! |
